The incredibly average life of kyle Jennings

Who I am (in 30 seconds)

I am a freelance copywriter living in Denver (originally from NY).

I help high-ticket businesses turn their existing traffic into more $$$ with conversion-focused copy. (SEE REVIEWS)

I write. Not in a flowery, poetic way, but to organize my thoughts (WHY I WRITE). I share whatever may be helpful to at least one other person.

And I walk a lot – at least a couple of hours per day. Not by choice, I was simply built this way.

What I care about

I want to help people create a sustainable business that aligns with their interests, desires, and natural rhythms.

On a broader scale, I’m interested in helping others and myself achieve more agency over their lives (a pretty good encapsulation of my thinking here). To live more fully.

How to reach me

I love meeting new people and talking on the phone (usually while walking). Click here to schedule an intro call.

Questions about something specific? Click here to email me – I reply to everything.

Things I’ve created lately

The Invasive Species Inside of Us (Personal Substack): A breakdown of how I’ve been thinking about self-development lately – a sort of self-help guide I wrote for myself.

A Forgotten Family History (Personal Substack): A reflection about my Father’s family history, following his death.

/AI (This Website): A place on my website to capture reflections, resources, and use-cases for AI.

Ugly Photos Are More Beautiful (Personal Substack): A thought that arose when looking through old photo albums following my father’s death.

10 Lessons From My Professor-Dog (Personal Substack): Some lessons I’ve derived from our incredible dog, Goose. I love this list format and want to apply it to other domains (Lessons From DJing + Lessons From My Father’s Death as a few examples)

What the hell is this site for?

Nothing, really.

I mean, it hosts my portfolio. But if I wanted to optimize for acquiring new clients, I’d be better suited to leave out all of this other bullcrap.

This explanation from Andrew Ginn about his personal site captures at least part of it:

“In different ways over recent years… I’ve had different places online to capture the details of life but none have felt fun or very lasting.

This is an attempt to land in one place. It is a digital garden because it will grow. There will be weeds. Some things will die. One crop might do better than the rest.”

Other reasons that are personal to me…

🔗 Integration. I want to blur the delineation between “business” and “life,” integrating my fullest self into both of these apparently separate worlds.

😁 Fun. I am the type of nerd who enjoys reflecting, to a fault. And so, I enjoy creating this sort of thing.

📖 A digital scrapbook. I’m nostalgic and sentimental by nature – this site is my central place to log ideas, insights, reflections, pictures, and more, so I can look back and get all sentimental.

📝 Capture important lessons. It’s a central location for me to store the lessons I’ve learned about my business, craft, and life in general.

😌 No-stakes. Creation has historically always created a sort of pressure for me. I’ve had trouble diving into creative tasks fully, with a large part of my brain sort of managing everything I do from the perspective of “will other people like this?” and “will this sell?” This site is very much for me, and so it’s a stake-free zone for creation.
